Pretty much, potty-training has been the worst experience of my life (and Caden's for that matter). It has been months of horrible frustration and "messes" everywhere. For a little boy that is fairly clean and tiddy this was awful. He hated potty-training. I hated potty-training. It was not going very well. So, we quit. I felt like a failure....UNTIL, after exhausting all of my resources (or so I thought), a friend told me about the "Potty-Watch." It goes off every 30, 60, or 90 minutes and plays a nice little jingle. I was not convinced of how this would work better than all the other timing instruments I had tried, but was desperate and willing to give just about anything a try. It was 2 days and ZERO accidents later, and my dreams are coming true...a toddler who likes being potty-trained. This watch is the BOMB! So, for any of you frustrated potty-training mothers out there who are out of idea's...here is another one to try :)I seriously want to bear my testimony of the Potty-Watch. Is that sacreligious??

You are a genious! Thanks for the tip. I will be searching for one of those because I seriously despise potty training. Your boys are so darling. You are so amazing! We miss you!
Thank you for the idea...I have been meaning to post a help me potty train Annie blog because her pediatritian informed us she is ready!!! AHHHH! Scares me to death and since she is scared of the toilet...we are gonna have issues! Glad that the potty watch has helped! You are super mom!! Sounds like you have so much to look forward to in the next little bit! and excited to hear that Nat is prego! Tell her congrats!
I love your testimonial! I HATE potty training, too! Least favorite parenting responsibility by far!:) I'm glad the watch is working...that is a great recommendation! Congrats on getting your boy potty trained! What a HUGE accomplishment FOR SURE!:)
You are hilarious. Congrats on the potty training thing! I thought you already ran a marathon? Are you doing the St. George one? That would make me so happy cause I am doing it. I am also doing a triathalon in Aug. I am so glad you are into that stuff too. I'm glad you are back to blogging!
Oh friend, I am so glad you found something that works! Not to worry that I have a huge testimony of grocery shopping on-line. I just started that and I am forever converted! What a wonderful thing for mom's! I also have a testimony of 6:30 bed times, and DVD players in cars!
I fear the potty training. Abie got me anxious at 18 mo by asking to go and doing it. But when the panties came out she still had accidents. We have yet to get serious again for OUR lack of the messes it will bring.
