Yup, we were going to buy one of these beauties. Made the offer. It got accepted. We moved out in preparation for our big first home purchase. And we waited, and waited, and waited for our lending. As a matter of fact, technically speaking, we are still waiting. Ugh. What a disaster of a first-time home buying experience. 4 days before our close, our original lender was shut down by the FDIC. The next lender wanted tax information that meant our taxes would need to be amended. So, we sent them off for amending. They are apparently still being amended and are now "under review" by the IRS, which could lead to an audit. In the meantime, we lost the condo (which was a huge bummer since we had to move out of our fabulous ward), and are unable to get any lending until our taxes are finalized. Are you jealous yet? For the record, I do not recommend ever using Liberty Tax for your tax services.
