A Child's Prayer

Tonight, I went to tuck Caden into bed. He offered his first prayer (all by himself!!!) . It was SSOOO awesome! This is how it went:
"Dear Heavenly Father, I love you a million, trillion airplanes. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
I just about bawled my eyes out because his prayer was so sweet! What a great kid!

Hi! It's jennie. I got your comment. It is good to catch up. You look like things are going well. We actually were in ST. George a couple of months ago and drove past Shaun's place. If we had more time we would have stopped. It is a beautiful building. Don't you love it when the kids start saying their own prayers? Sydney now lets you know that she says long prayers and she even tries to help us say ours. They can be so fun!!

Precious. I love the prayers from little ones. My mom recorded some of us praying when we were little and I want to do the same.

It's good to know that all the struggling we go through now with prayer time will one day pay off. Kate hates to sit still and be quiet! So much energy! What cute boys you have! I love checking out your updates! -Megg

Too Cute! Cade is just starting to say his own prayers too and they can be so funny and so touching. To answer your question about where I got my dress for my ten year reunion, I got it at good old Ross!

That is so cute Court! I can kinda relate cuz I just heard my niece and nephew giving prayers the other week (they're 2 and 4)...and oh my gosh, I got teary eyed with them...it was the cutest thing ever..so I can only imagine with your own kids how much it must melt your heart:)

I'm so glad I found your blog. I've been keeping up for a few weeks now and love. I've missed your updates. I hope all is well with the Wallaces. I look forward to any and all new fun and stories.
Your family seem the same as I remember them, incredible!. I'm so curious about Reed, how is he? I'd love to see some pics. I remember him as a second grader in galoshes!
Lots of love!

AWWWW! Hi Courtney! You probably don't even remember me, from Fullerton. Anyway, I just had to comment. Wait until they're older, it gets funnier. I have one that always falls asleep before I get to her to say prayers (cuz I've got 5 kids now!) Usually I can wake her back up in time. But this one night she was out HARD! So, I wiggled and tickled and pinched and said, "Ash, can you say prayer?" She picked her head up and said, "Prayer." And she fell right back to sleep! Crack up!
