When Shaune, Caden, and I moved into our apartment last year, Brook Tanner quickly became one of my dearest friends. Our children are very close in age, our husbands both love golf and computers, we are ALL Cougar Alum's, our second children are only 2 weeks apart, and we all love the outdoors. We've been camping, swimming, hiking, worked in Young Womens together, had several unsuccessful "girl's nights out to shop only for ourselves", walked who knows how many miles with our kids in strollers, and shared some good laughs and cries. We have taken turns bouncing each other's newborns during impossible tantrums during Young Womens lessons that we were to teach, shared endless phone conversations about how to be better people and parents, know each other's "nap schedule", and pretty much everything in between. Every one needs a friend like Brook. This is a picture of Brook and her daughter, Cassie (aka Caden's buddy...they do EVERYTHING together :). I just loved this picture of the two of them.
